The Shiamak Davar's Institute for the Performing Arts popularly known as “SDIPA” is symbolic of that pot which beholds different human beings; who share but one goal in common, which is the will to work hard and emerge as a rainbow of success.
SDIPA is India's leading dance institute with branches in all major cities. SDIPA formalized in 1992 with only two centers in Mumbai. Today we have around 13 centers in Mumbai, 7 in Delhi, 4 in Bangalore, and this Summer we are holding workshops in many other cities like Pune, Goa, Hyderabad etc. In Mumbai alone we now teach thousands of students annually and the number is constantly increasing.
Jazz, Hip-hop, Afro-Jazz, Rock 'n' Roll, Salsa, we've got a plethora of activities for the young and the not so young. People come in all shapes and sizes to our dance institute. Fat, thin, good dancers, special people, physically & mentally challenged everyone is welcomed to this disciplined, professional and yet fun institute. Some people come to lose weight & enjoy dancing themselves thin. The program is designed to work the parts of your body that need to build up strength & flexibility, gradually and according to your body rhythm and temperament. It includes weight training and diet programs. Everybody yearns to be fit and trim, to dance & express themselves.
At SDIPA students start classes from Beginners level, graduating to Elementary, Elementary Advance, Intermediate. ATP (Advance Training Program) & J7 (Jazz 7) are two special programs designed for students with that special talent. The latent spark in them culminates into wild fire by the end of this program. Both, ATP & J7 are intensive training sessions where students are groomed into performers.
